Panoramy-Presje-Przenikanie Przestrzeni art exhibition by Andrzej Maciej Łubowski

On Monday, 26 October, at 6:30 p.m. the Lecture Centre of Poznań University of Technology, ul. Piotrowo 2, will host a vernissage of works by Andrzej Maciej Łubowski, entitled Panoramy-Presje-Przenikanie Przestrzeni (Panoramas-Pressures-Pervasion of Spaces).

Andrzej Maciej Łubowski

He was born in 1946 in Poznań. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1971 with a diploma in painting. After graduation, he returned to Poznań. He arranged more than 45 individual exhibitions of his work and participated in a number of collective art exhibitions. His works are displayed in museums and public and private collections in the country and abroad. In 2006-2015 he was a professor and dean at the Arts Faculty of Poznań School of Social Sciences. Currently, he works in the Faculty of Architecture of Poznań University of Technology and in the Warsaw School of Arts. In 2010 he obtained the title of a professor of plastic arts and won a Gloria Artis Medal.

The works displayed on Panoramy-Presje-Przenikanie Przestrzeni exhibition derive from a previous series called Złamane Obrazy (Broken Paintings) which comprised magnified face representations broken along the vertical axis of the painting.
